 • Series: Habakkuk

Dear God, Where Are You? Habakkuk 1     1. When you feel ghosted by God take your questions to Him in prayer   “How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?” Psalm 13:1   “How long, O Lord? Will you hide yourself forever?” Psalm 89:46   “But I, O Lord, cry to you; in the morning my prayer comes before you. O Lord, why do you cast my soul away? Why do you hide your face from me?” Psalm 88:13-14   “God either wishes to take away evils and is unable; or he is able and unwilling; or he is neither willing nor able; or he is both willing and able. If he is willing and unable, he is feeble, which does not agree with the character of God. If he is able and unwilling, he is malicious, which is equally at odds with God. If he is neither willing nor able, he is both malicious and feeble and therefore not God. If he is both willing and able, which is alone suitable to God, from what source then come evils and why does he not remove them?” Epicurus, ancient Greek philosopher     2. When you feel ghosted by God, remember His words may be harder to digest than His silence   3. When you feel ghosted by God, don’t lose sight of God’s character   4.
